For those of you who haven't heard, our drummer Bruce Burgess just released his solo CD entitled Drum Dynasty. The CD is incredible and took 3 years to perfect and craft. This double CD showcases advanced odd measure drum rhythms meshed against world music. Features World Class percussionists Arturo Rodriguez, Marco Zonka, and Film Composer Kevin Christensen. Produced by yours truly. This self titled double CD explores African, Algerian, Haitian, Greek, & Arabic rhythms with hints of Yanvanlou, Masmoudi, Adowa, Hemiola, & Santeria along the way. PREPARE TO HAVE THY FACE MELTED SOON! I'm happy to announce the debut Seven Against Thebes CD is almost done. It's presently being mixed by Ken Fordyce over at Mirror Sound, Seattle, WA. We are about to deliver to the world the best 60 minutes of music this 4 piece can dish out. I want to take this time to personally thank a few people. Bruce - thanks for being my blood brother! Dave - thanks for being my black brother! Rusty - thanks for being my motherfucker! Joel - thanks for being my mother! What's next for 7AT? How about all of the above: For starters the release our debut CD, multi-channel nationwide media distribution, a massive distro strategy, a few killer radio connections down in Southern California, & a little luck. I leave you with one final thought - WHY NOT 7AT? Release date below -
