Seven Against Thebes just signed a 5 year contract with media giant West Sound Community Television to have it's music featured on many of its future demolition derby DVD's. This video series is called Saturday Night Destruction and features lots of high energy derby car action filmed live from Thunderbird Stadium. 7AT's music was personally selected from a handful of bands by West Sound Producer Brent Woolard. "7AT's music is perfect this kind of video production," Brent explains. "We look forward to working with 7AT over the next several years in delivering full throttle demolition action." Be sure to listen for songs like Nemesis, Swandiver, Suicide Note, and Equilibrium playing in the background.

__________________________________________________CD RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED

The release date the debut CD from (7AT) Seven Against Thebes, MASK is kind of official now. Cyrus wanted me to pass along the un-official release date of 8/8/08. Hey release dates like that only come around once every couple hundred years. Cyrus & the rest of the gang are putting the finishing touches on the CD with Seattle mixer Ken Fordyce over at Mirror Sound. For those of you who haven't heard of Ken Fordyce before, let me assure you this guy has one impressive production bio. Ken has worked with countless Seattle area bands including  Jellyneck, Manfall, & Dypak-Flesh just to name a few. Now Ken has graciously decided to take on 7AT.

Drum Dynasty is a radical drum CD that showcases advanced odd measure drum rhythms meshed with earthy world techno music. This self titled debut double CD explores African, Algerian, Haitian, Greek, & Arabic rhythms with hints of Yanvanlou, Masmoudi, Adowa, Hemiola, & Santeria rhythms along the way.
